A big financial partnership between Google and SunPower will make it a little easier to go solar. The money from the fund ($100 million from Google and $150 million from SunPower), will be used to buy residential rooftop solar panel systems, which will then be leased to homeowners at a cost that’s typically below that of the customer’s normal electricity bill.
